  • These Website access terms and conditions (the “Terms”) are the Terms on which this Website (the “Website”) is made available to you for your use. By accessing this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website.

  1. Information about us
  • Primary Care Careers is part of the GP Retention Programme which is a Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB ICS) wide programme funded by NHS England & NHS Improvement. The lead organisation is Oxfordshire Training Hub (OTH).  Training Hubs are funded by Health Education England (HEE).
  • The lead organisation for the delivery of the GP Retention Programme is the Oxfordshire Training Hub (“OTH”), hosted by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust | Trust Headquarters | Littlemore Mental Health Centre | Sandford Road | Oxford | OX4 4XN Office Address: Northway Community Centre (2nd Floor) | Dora Carr Close | Oxford | OX3 9RF.
  1. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
  • Your use of the Website and its contents shall not grant any rights to you in relation to the use of any intellectual property (IP) rights or associated rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patients, design rights, database rights or any other rights associated with any know-how or creation related to the Website.
  • All content including but not limited to text, interfaces whether user or visual, illustrations, graphics, photographs, logos and other related material contained on the Website are wholly owned and controlled by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust or licensed to Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust by our partnering/ third party organisations. All rights are reserved and any reproduction shall be prohibited.
  • Nothing in these Terms shall constitute the transfer of any IP rights from the OTH or Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust to you or any other party.
  • No part of this Website shall be copied, reproduced, downloaded, commercially exploited, communicated to or distributed in any manner other than for your own personal use of our services. Any further use shall only be undertaken with our prior written consent.
  1. Use of the Website 
  • By using the Website, you agree that you will not:
    1. use the Website in any way which may lead to procuring, encouraging or carrying out any activity which is illegal, fraudulent, unlawful or prohibited by the Terms;
    2. use the Website in a way that breaches an applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
  • advertise or promote your own or third party products or services including anything distributed by way of ‘spam’ emails or communication;
    1. use the Website for any purpose other than for your own personal use only;
    2. transfer any files that may potentially or actually contain viruses or engage in any activity which may be harmful to the Website;
    3. interfere with any other individual’s access to or use of the Website; or
  • access or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any accounts linked or associated with the Website or to interject or attempt to interject the Website security measures.
  • We will aim to ensure the Website and its content are error free and free from viruses, however, due to the nature of the internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Your use of any information or materials on the Website is entirely at your own risk and responsibility, for which we shall not be liable. You should ensure own virus protection software is up to date.

  • In the event the Terms have not been adhered to, we reserve the right to disable, suspend, restrict or terminate access to the Website, or any part of it, at any time without notice and at our discretion.   1. Links from the Website
  • We may provide links to other websites from time to time. These links are provided for your ease of reference only. We do not control third party websites and therefore shall not be responsible for their content. We do not endorse or associate ourselves with any material contained by the third party operators. We will not be a part to any contract with a third party that you may enter into and all liability shall be excluded to you in respect of any loss or damage which you may suffer as a result of using the websites. You agree that OTH or Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust shall not, under any circumstances, be involved in any dispute between you and the third party.

  • Legal obligations require that the following conditions are agreed by you. You confirm that:
    1. you are over the age of eighteen (18); and
    2. you will comply with the obligations and restrictions on the use of the Website as set out within these Terms.
  • You shall compensate Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in the event of any claim and/or damages made by a third party in respect of any matter arising from your use of the Website, including any actual or suspected breaches of these Terms, the law or the rights of any third party.

  • The content on this Website is for your general, domestic and private information and use only and is not intended to amount to advice which should be relied upon. You must obtain professional advice before taking any action on the basis of the content on the Website.

  • The OTH and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust are not under any obligation to update any information or content on the Website.
  1. Liability
  • We shall not undertake any liability to you for any breach of these Terms cause by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control. This includes but shall not be limited to lock-outs, strikes, industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access including viruses and ransomware, fire, flood, accident or other.
  • As far as permitted by applicable law, we exclude any and all liability, including liability of our directors, officers, managers, shareholders, employees, agents, members or advisors, whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with access to or use of the Website. This includes but is not limited to any indirect or consequential losses, including those that were not foreseeable to you and us when access and use of the Website commenced.
  • You will indemnify and compensate us and our directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, members or advisors for any loss, costs, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable legal fees relating to:
    1. your use of the Website;
    2. your breach of these Terms;
  • any violation of law or rights of any third party caused by you;
    1. our use of any of your information provided to us where a claim arises.
  • Notwithstanding anything contrary, we shall not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to exclude. This may include death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent activity or misrepresentation. Nothing in these Terms shall restrict your on-going statutory rights.

  1. Suspension or withdrawal of the Website
  • The Website is made available free of charge. In the event this changes, you will be notified.
  • We do not guarantee or provide any warranties that the Website or any of its content will be available or be uninterrupted at all times. The Website may be suspended, withdrawn or the availability may be restricted as a whole or in part as required for business and operational requirements or for reasons beyond our control.   • These Terms are not intended to give rights to anyone except you, us and our affiliates. None of these Terms will be enforceable by any third party including any enforcement through the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
  • A delay of immediate instigation on our part of any requirement or breach by you under these Terms shall not affect or prevent us from taking steps against you at a later date.

  • We are constantly evolving and looking for ways to improve our services. We therefore reserve the right to amend and update the Terms and other policies at any time which will take effect immediately upon posting such changes. Please ensure that these Terms and the Privacy Policy are regularly reviewed as the Terms will be deemed accepted if you continue to use the Website after the implementation of any changes.
